What is a clearing account in SAP FICO ?

 A clearing account in SAP FICO is an intermediate account used to temporarily hold funds during the clearing process.

It is typically used to offset debits and credits between two or more accounts until they are fully reconciled and settled.

Example : GR/IR Clearing Account
